Go to your control panel on the server and look for &#039;General settings&#039;.
Here is a list of which files the browser must first open on the server eg. index.htm, index.php, default.php etc.
Add shop.php and ready to go!</description>

Excellent tip. Now I know why the View Store link is missing from many of my store admin page.

I&#039;ve always thought the link was removed. Never queried about it as it was not very very important. 

Now that you&#039;ve highlighted the disadvantages of renaming shop.php, I think I will try out this .htaccess thing for all my aom sites.

		<description>I plan on looking at this in more detail.  I did do some initial configuration (i.e. modifying .htaccess).  That worked well.  I&#039;d also like when a visitor navigates back to the home page that it appears as the main URL without any extension.  Currently home points to the URL with the shop.php extension.
